BRA Day VideoSync Fundraiser

On Wednesday, October 17^th, Miami Plastic Surgery and Body and Soul held the 1^st Annual BRA Day VideoSync Fundraiser.  The high energy, fitness dance class allowed participants to shake and move in support of Breast Reconstruction Awareness. Breast implant manufacturer, Sientra, also sponsored the PINK event.

BreastReconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day is an initiative designed to promote education, awareness and access regarding post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. BRA Day was first launched in 2011 in Canada and now will occur annually on the third Wednesday of October.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

On Saturday, October 13th, Miami Plastic Surgery joined the American Cancer Society's Look Good...Feel Better Program to raise funds during the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

  The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk is an inspiring opportunity for the community to honor breast cancer survivors and to raise awareness about steps we all can take to reduce our risk of breast cancer. The funds raised during this event go towards groundbreaking research, comprehensive support for cancer patients, and access to free mammograms for thousands of women.
